Tabs privacy policy

Last updated: September 3, 2026 · Tabs is operated by Lumor Labs LLC · contact: hello@lumorlabs.com

What Tabs does

Tabs shares what you're currently paying attention to in your AI chats (Claude, ChatGPT) with friends you choose — like a music status, but for attention. You connect it yourself, and you control it.

What we collect

The connector and what it can access

Connecting Tabs to Claude or ChatGPT uses OAuth 2.1. You sign in on the Tabs consent screen — with Sign in with Apple, or an email and password — and your Claude or ChatGPT account credentials are never shared with us. We never receive your conversations. Once connected, the assistant can post your attention updates, read the recent vibes of friends you have mutually added, and read your own Tabs inbox. Nothing else. You can disconnect it in Claude or ChatGPT at any time, which revokes the token, or pause all sharing from inside the app.

How long we keep it

What we don't do

Where it lives

Data is stored with our hosting providers (Vercel, Supabase) in encrypted form in transit and at rest. To auto-blur sensitive topics, the short summary text (only, never conversations) may be sent to OpenAI's API for classification; it is not used to train models and is not stored by us beyond the vibe itself.

Your controls

To delete your account and all associated data, email hello@lumorlabs.com — we'll confirm within 72 hours.

Age

Tabs is not intended for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Terms

Using Tabs is also subject to our terms of service.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we'll update the date above and notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
